The winery’s geographical identity also extends to the broader PGI Macedonia, established since 1989. It covers the entire geographical region of Macedonia, allowing for the creation of exquisite wines from selected vineyards, with freedom regarding grape variety and style.

The P.G.I. ‘Macedonia’ covers an extensive geographical area that includes regions from Central, Western, and Eastern Macedonia, resulting in a diversity of soils and terroirs characteristic of the broader Macedonian viticultural zone.

For white wines, authorized indigenous varieties include Athiri, Asprouda Serron, Assyrtiko, Zoumiatiko, Koiniariko, Malagousia, Muscat of Alexandria, Batiki, Xinomavro, Preknadi, Roditis, Robola, and Savatiano, alongside international varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Ugni Blanc, Semillon, Viognier, Gewürztraminer, and Riesling.

For red wines, the indigenous varieties Agiorgitiko, Limnio, Limniona, Moschomavro, Negoska, Xinomavro, Pamidi, Sefka, and Hondromavro are permitted, as well as the international varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache Rouge, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Nebbiolo, Refosco, Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Barbera, Montepulciano, Negro Amaro, and Tannat. For rosé wines, combinations of the aforementioned varieties are permitted, both indigenous and international, which also include Gewürztraminer and Riesling.
