Within Drama lies the smaller, unique P.G.I. Agora (1996), embracing the villages of Agora and Pigadia Megalou Alexandrou. This terroir yields exceptional grapes, crafting all the winery’s premium wines, among them, Magic Mountain, the first icon wine of Greece. Château Nico Lazaridi is the sole producer of P.G.I. Agora wines.

The grape varieties include both indigenous and international like Roditis, Muscat of Alexandria, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Ugni Blanc for white wines; Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot for red wines; and Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Grenache Rouge for rosé wines.

The vineyard soils are of medium mechanical composition (loam-sandy and sandy clay loam), with a slightly alkaline pH and low calcium carbonate content. These soils are well-suited for viticulture and are mostly found on slopes at altitudes between 200 and 600 meters, where they offer moderate texture and good drainage.
