Gold Medal in the Berlin Wein Trophy for Château Nico Lazaridi Red 2018
Château Nico Lazaridi Red 2018 just won the Gold Medal at the Berliner Wein Trophy international competition which was held in Berlin on April 8-18.
The flagship wine of NICO LAZARIDI winery has been distinguished in the largest and most important international wine competition organized under the auspices of OIV (International Organization of Vine and Wine).
Over 13,600 wines from 40 countries entered the famous wine competition that serves as a benchmark for the industry, reflecting the trends of the global wine market.
The 400 Berlin Wine Trophy independent jury members have tasted, singled out and awarded Château Nico Lazaridi 2018 for its charming blend of deep red color which combines Merlot’s sweet fruity aromas with the density of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese’s finesse. It matured for 12 months in oak barrels and is a perfect accompaniment for dishes of red meat or wild game.
It is worth noting that earlier this year, Château Nico Lazaridi Red 2018 was awarded the Silver Medal at the Mundus Vini Spring Tasting.
