The Black Sheep, an eccentric name for a product that stresses out its diversity and particularity. Its thoroughly modern philosophy is evident from its contemporary appearance, its screw cap and its characteristic freshness. It is produced at the Mackedon Winery at Platanotopos, Kavala, while the vineyards are found in a small distance.

The Black Sheep white wine is made from the varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon  in a pleasant combination of flavors and aromas.

Type of wine: Dry White Wine.

Appellation: Protected Geographical Indication Pangeon.

Varieties: 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon

Vinification Techniques: Fermentation at low temperature in order to maximise the extraction of primary aromas. Short maturation with the fine lees.

Alcohol: 12%
Total Acidity: 5.4g/l
Residual Sugar : 1.7g/l

Tasting Notes: Pale yellow color. Pronounced aromas of lime, lychee, grapefruit, peach, nectarine, with some notes of grass. Pleasant acidity, medium body with the flavours following the aromas of the nose with a pleasant aftertaste.

Aging: Will respond to aging for up to 2-3 years after harvest.

Perfect Pairing: Served at 8-10 °C, excellent match for seafood salads, lean white meat and pasta with light sauces.
